Aion 2 Alt Rerolling Guide: 1,085 Soul Crystals and Up to 8 Pet Chests per Alt

What each alt claims

With every pet collected and at level 3, all five boards at Insight 10, and at least 500 Analyze presses on each board, a new alt claims:

Every tier together would pay 882,000 Kina and 1,130 Soul Crystals, but three can't be finished: each wants 50 pets of one genus at level 2, and there are only 41 Cogni, 48 Natura and 46 Varian pets.

With less done on your server, an alt claims less: each achievement below pays only for the tiers your server has reached.

Step 1: make the alt and reach level 10

Make the alt on your main's server. Achievements open at level 9, and pets with the level-10 story quest that gives you a free pet: All Geared Up for Elyos, Gathering Essentials for Asmodians.

Step 2: claim the pet achievements

Open Achievements, then Progress and Custom, and press Collect All Rewards. These are the pet achievements, 112 tiers in all:

The level-2 achievements are All of the Cogni Power Combined, Animal Sound (Fera), Chronicler of the Forest (Natura) and Beginning of Change (Varian); the level-3 ones are Brain Master, Wild Played Straight, Eco-Friendly Guardian and Beauty of Difference. Each tier pays 10 or 15 Soul Crystals.

They also give the alt 10 titles, among them Unbound by Genus. Titles stay with the character that earns them.

Step 3: open the Pet Chests

Each Pet Chest gives one random pet of its genus, any of them, the ones you own included, each equally likely. A pet new to your server joins every character's collection, so a chest can bring a pet you would otherwise cross a rift or pay the Black Cloud Merchants for.

The Custom tab levels up with every tier completed on it, and the pet tiers take it to 112. For the Natura chest at 114, join a Legion and make a friend. The Varian chest at 137 takes 25 more of the tab's other tiers: friends, commendations given and commendations received.

The tab's earlier levels pay 10,000 Kina at 22 and 800 Enhance Stones at 45.

Step 4: spend the Soul Crystals on your boards

Soul Crystals can't go into Server Storage, so the alt spends them itself. It Analyzes the same boards as your main, and every line it rolls is your main's too.

The 1,085 Soul Crystals cost 271,250 Kina in Analyze fees, at 4 crystals and 1,000 Kina a slot rolled: about 30 presses of a board with all nine slots rolling, paid from the alt's own 852,000. What to roll and what to lock: the Genus Insight guide.

Step 5: make the next one

Each character claims the pet achievements once. Make another alt and repeat; with no free character slot left, delete an alt you don't play and make a new one. Each server gives you 4 character slots, 8 with the paid expansion. What else an alt shares with your main: the alts guide.
